KWK will Return to Operate Soon

After stopping the operation due to COVID-19 pandemic, Koperasi Wahana Kalpika (KWK), one of Jak Lingko operators, will return to operate starting July 1.

We will return to operate, but only 50 percent of total fleets

KWK President Director, Taufik Azhar mentioned, as many as 1,101 KWK fleets didn't operate since March 23 as regulated by Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub). Entering the new normal period, KWK will return to operate from July 1 but his side only operate 50 percent of total fleets, or around 600 fleets to serve the public by implementing COVID-19 prevention protocols.

"We will return to operate, but only 50 percent of total fleets. Surely we hope this pandemic to end soon," he said after attending the KWK Annual Member Meeting which carried out virtually in his office, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Thursday (6/25).

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency Head, Nurhidayat conveyed, KWK as one of Jak Lingko operators will continue to innovate in managing the cooperative thus it can develop well and contribute actively for the socio-economic development.

"KWK, as one of Jak Lingko operators, has its financial report audited by public accountant office every year. We appreciate the KWK administrators who have conducted external audit of the financial statements," he said.

According to him, Jak Lingko existence is needed by public because it provides safe and comfort modes of transport. Moreover, now people can access Jak Lingko easier because of its integration with Transjakarta.
